For decades, health authorities have argued that the diet of people living in Mediterranean countries, with its emphasis on olive oil, nuts and fresh produce, is a driving force behind the region’s historically low rates of heart disease

The truth is, its as much about the lifestyle as it is about what they eat. It’s the whole attitude. It’s the food and it’s the social interaction as well as getting the right kind of exercise; not to mention the being outside in the sunlight. The question, though, is how can we combine all these things and incorporate them into our own day-to-day.
